Fill in the personal details form, providing your name, country, mobile phone number and E-mail address. If you pick up the car from airport/port, or a hotel/Airbnb house please do not forget to provide your flight number/boat name or the name of the hotel/address of the Airbnb house and the exact arrival time. Once your booking is complete, you will receive a printable voucher via e-mail.
Car rental days are calculated on a 24-hour basis, starting from the vehicle pick up time.
You are allowed to return the car up to 3 hours later than the pick-up time, without being charged an extra day. In case you wish to extend you rental period, notify Europe rent a car at least 24 hrs prior to return day and we will try our best to fulfil your request. In case of early return, we are unable to give you a refund, but we can credit the remaining days of the rental for your next visit.

Drivers must be 23+ years old, holding their license for at least 24 months, for car groups D,J, M, M1, P7, P9 and 21+ years old, holding their license for at least 12 months for all other car groups. Only the persons registered in the contract are entitled to drive the vehicle and are covered by the insurance.
No, there is not. In case there are more than 2 drivers, the cost is €1 / day.
All rentals include insurance CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) with NO EXCESS. Full insurance (FDW), with 0 excess and no credit card as guarantee, is also included in the price, as well as WUG insurance.
If you rent a car and it gets damaged, the ‘Excess’ (or the ‘Deductible’) is the amount of money you have to pay upon returning the vehicle.
When you rent a car in Crete with Europe rent a car, there is NO Excess/Deductible – you are not accountable and you will not be charged for any destruction or damages made to the car!

CAR RENTAL
The operating hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. For service outside the operating hours (service between 10:30 p.m. and 8 a.m.) an extra 15 euro per rental will apply. The early/late service fee applies only for car pick-up and not for car return outside the office hours.
No, you will certainly not lose your reservation or pay a fine, but it is extremely helpful for us to know your flight number upon booking, so we can be aware of any flight changes as soon as possible and act accordingly.
No, you cannot, as it is prohibited by the Greek traffic law to drive without a driver’s license. However, if there is a second driver in your group having a driver’s license, you can still proceed with the rental.
Each rental has unlimited mileage in Crete.
One-way rentals are available without extra charge in case the different pick-up and delivery locations are mentioned when booking. In case the return location changes during rental, extra charges will apply.
In Europe rent a car, we can deliver the car at your hotel or Airbnb house and you can return it there as well.
We will wait for you outside the arrivals at the airport, with you name written on a board. Moreover, you will receive on your phone a photo of our agent who will be waiting for you, prior to your arrival, making things easier and quicker!
All vehicles must be returned with the same quantity of fuel as picked up. In case the renter returns the car with more fuel, the price of the excess fuel will not be refunded.
Transporting and driving the car outside the main island of Crete is not allowed. The written authorization of our company is required by any renter wishing to transport the car to and from the island.
The rental can be paid in cash, by debit card or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Maestro).
In Europe rent a car, we do our outmost to deliver the car model that you booked. In some cases, we may have to provide a different vehicle, of the same or better category, at the same price.

ACCIDENT-DAMAGE-LOSS
In case of a breakdown or an accident you should contact Europe rent a car (all contact information will be provided the first day of the rental). You should explain the problem to our representative as clearly as possible. Help will be sent to your location as soon as possible. You should remain close to your vehicle until assistance arrives. If there is a problem that cannot be fixed on spot, a replacement vehicle will be provided.
In case of key loss, you should contact Europe rent a car. Our agents will bring you a replacement key. Key loss is not covered by insurance, so extra charges will apply.
The day of car pick-up our agents will give you clear directions as to the type of fuel for your car. In case there is a mistake, please contact us for further directions.
